Welcome to Carramar Primary School

Welcome to the Carramar Primary School Web Site. We regularly update our website to keep you informed of the many events that are occurring in our wonderful school. We hope you find our website informative and easy to navigate.  Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any queries.

Carramar Primary School has a strong reputation of being a welcoming, caring and friendly school community.

At Carramar Primary students are at the heart of everything we do. In partnership with our families and community, our “whole child” approach will ensure students feel safe, engaged and challenged.

Our goal is to promote an inclusive and resilient learning community where every child, staff member and family feels valued and supported.

Staff are committed and passionate in ensuring the school environment reflects high expectations and optimal learning conditions where all students can learn and thrive.

We aim to lift the learning achievements and progress of our students and inspire growth through excellent teaching and learning practices.

The evidence-based Visible Learning strategy defines our approach to delivering a school-wide pedagogy. Through our Professional Learning Communities, staff experience, expertise and skills are shared willingly to achieve consistency and continuity of curriculum delivery.

Specialist programs are provided in the areas of Languages: Auslan and Italian; The Arts: Visual Arts, Music and Drama; Technology and Physical and Health Education.

Our Student Leaders are the beneficiaries of the school’s ongoing positive engagement with the City of Wanneroo Student Leadership program. This partnership has strengthened our knowledge and connections to the Aboriginal history of our community. Artwork within the school grounds is testament to our learning and partnerships.

We are very fortunate to have strong community support from our School Board and very dedicated P&C, who work hard to foster a shared sense of belonging.
